May 18th will be a special Business & Coaching Day, for the first time organized in Belgium, with a specific program dedicated exclusively to the business world.

The Belgian Chapter of the International Coach federation invites Managers, HR Department and Directors, mainly from Belgium, France and the Netherlands to join us.

The Business & Coaching Day sets out a varied and complete program of workshops and presentations on the exclusive theme of professional coaching within the company.

This one day “Business & Coaching Conference” for Companies is organized before the two days of the European Coaching Conference aimed at professional coaches.

So, pay attention that:

- The Business & Coaching Day focuses on the corporate world : managers, HR Dpt and Directors

- The European Coaching Conference is the educational program aimed at professional coaches wishing to develop their coaching practice.

 THE COACHING

Professional coaching is a partnership which enables clients to produce satisactory results in their professional life, company or organisation. The coaching process speeds up the client’s rate of progress by ensuring greater focus and awareness of their choices. Coaching concentrates on what the client is today and on what he or she is ready to undertake to reach his or her goal. Through the coaching process, the individual or the team being coached deepen their knowledge, improve their performance and enhance their professional life.

 ICF – INTERNATIONAL COACH FEDERATION

Set up in the US in 1995, the International Coach Federation (ICF) is the first international association of professional coaches. It is the origin of the recognition and professional status of coaching in the US, Asia, Australia and Europe.

The ICF:
- exists in 35 countries and has about 200 national and regional chapters.
- has more than 10,000 members.
- is the first and biggest association of professional coaches worldwide.

 ICF BELGIUM

Set up in November 2002, the International Coach Federation Belgium (ICF/B) is a group of qualified coaches who practise the art of coaching in Belgium by adhering to ICF objectives and adapting them to the Belgian and European culture and particularities. In this way, the profession benefits from being a national association open to all coaches who want to contribute to the development of their profession and to continue to develop the internationally renowned quality standards.

The Business & Coaching Day on 18 May 2006 sets out a varied and complete programme of conferences, workshops, and presentations on the exclusive theme of coaching within the company.
